Dockstar not booting after kenel upgrade

I have a big Problem since last upgrade.
apt upgraded to linux-image-3.2.0-4-kirkwood:armel 3.2.57-3
and now it seems to me that this kernel doesn´t load
nc says:

Starting kernel ...

In my Router overview dockstar shows up with correct IP (manually set in /etc/network/interfaces)
but pinging it is not possible and after a little while it disappears in Router overview.
In the dmesg file on the usbstick last successfull boot shows logs from kernel 3.2.41, so my guess is that the new kernel is not starting.
Maybe anyone has any ideas what to do?
Without usbstick tho original pogoplug is still working so the Hardware seems to be ok.

The symptom indicates that you're probably running an old U-Boot (perhaps 2009)? Old U-Boot does not work with kernel 3.2.xx and later. If that's true, you should restore your usb stick to the previous back up before the upgrade, and then install the latest kernel here:

Make sure you have a back up stick, too. Since your kernel is too old, and it will be a massive upgrade with this kernel when you do apt-get upgrade afterward.

After you can boot back in to Debian, consider updating U-Boot too if you want new features:

thanks for your answer.
As I wrote, I was already running a 3.2 Kernel and uboot worked fine
Uboot version:

U-Boot 2010.06-00695-gbd23130-dirty

The upgrade was a debian security update of linux-image-3.2.0-4 from revNr 3.2.41 to 3.2.57.
Since there´s no important data on the dockstar (it only does print- and scannerserver + apt-cacher) mabye the most easy way would be to back up /etc and do a new clean install. First install was squeeze and since then i only updated the device, and it ran for a few years.

Seagate FreeAgent DockStar

with the updater script from

and it works
starting again.
seems that they changed something in kernel image
however i´m jumping happily through my living room.
