kernel module for WD Mybook LED's

I found in the blogspot, that the WD Mybook LED's can be controlled via kernel module. http://hacksomethingtonight.blogspot.com/2009/12/wd-mybook-hacks-leds.html

Is it possible to compile the above kernel module?. am trying with module-assistant in pogo v4, but can't find wd810-leds module.
