Pocket,

Just do what you did before in the rootfs thread. Is there any trouble with doing that?

You can install the same Debian rootfs from stock OS. You can also install u-boot from there too.

hello bodhi
i´m confuse

Firt thing to do is install uboot right like this
http://projects.doozan.com/uboot/

2º install debian
http://projects.doozan.com/debian/

and 3º update kernell
http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,12096

is that right??

Log in to stock OS, and then:

Create rootfs:
http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,12096

Install new u-boot:
http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,12381

That's it. You can do both while SSH into stock OS.

Cool!

It is OK, it won't cause booting problem. But it is not normal, meaning something is missing in your u-boot envs. If you did step 8 in the u-boot instruction, this should not happen. You could list the envs in Debian and post here and I'll take a look:
fw_printenv

Re: GoFlexhome install error

pocket,

If you don't need netconsole (since you already have serial console), then remove the preboot content:

fw_setenv preboot

If you want netconsole anyway, then it has not been set up completely.

So if you do want netconsole then these envs are needed, use fw_setenv to set them:
fw_setenv if_netconsole 'ping $serverip'
fw_setenv start_netconsole 'setenv ncip $serverip; setenv bootdelay 10; setenv stdin nc; setenv stdout nc; setenv stderr nc; version;'
