netatalk for the pogoplug?
January 26, 2016 02:38AM
I installed bodhi's rootfs which contains Debian Jessie. Now I realised that netatalk isn't available for Jessie.

Has somebody compiled it and could give me a deb or give me some howto how I can compile it myself?

I only need it for use=ing the pogoiplug as a Time Machine from the mac - everything else is via SAMBA.

Thanks,

Rainer

It is available. I'm running it on jessie.

Update:
I should say if you have installed it in wheezy, then it should stay the same in your rootfs.

So I can download the deb for wheezy from https://packages.debian.org/wheezy/armel/netatalk/download and it install it on Jessie? Or would this only be working on an upgrade? I want to install it on a new rootfs.

I am not sure it will work. The rules might have been changed. Give it a try!
