Bricked ix4-200d - Where do I begin?

Good afternoon,

I found about Debian while doing a google search about de-bricking my two ix4-200d NAS boxes. All of the drives have failed except one and I haven't had any luck restoring the original OS to the new drives.

I have a serial console but due to the lack of identifiable markings on the board, I haven't attempted to hook anything up yet.

Hopefully with some guidance, I can get these working again.

Search at OpenWrt or Nas-Central for serial pinouts.

Hmmm... It seems that they removed the header shown in the picture of the linked thread. I guess I'll have to break out the old soldering iron.
