Debian Squeeze Failure trying to run...
September 14, 2010 12:40AM
Followed the debian install instructions, found here: http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/

Things run fine for about 15 minutes, until I get:

W: Failure trying to run: chroot /tmp/debian dpkg --force-depends --install /var/cache/apt/archives/base-files_5.9_armel.deb /var/cache/apt/archives/base-passwd_3.5.22_armel.deb
debootstrap failed.

The log file ends with:

I had the same type of failure, I tried it again in about 30 minutes and it worked. Think it is an issue with the repository, see other posts about it.

thanks -

the usb key I used might also have been part of the problem. worked fine once i swapped it for another one...(after a handful of attempts to make the faulty one work)
