uBoot not booting my usb anymore
December 13, 2010 04:24PM
Hi there,

uBoot is not booting into my usb anymore and I have no Idea why -.-

Some weeks ago I unplugged my dockstar because I didn't have the time to use it and today I wanted to play with it but it does not boot onto my USB anymore :( I always get the linux from the Flash. Can you please help me?

Here is what netcat says without usb attached:

I had the same problem but for different causes. Anyhow I found my environment parameters were corrupted. One key parameter, if you use Jeff's uBoot, is bootcmd. It should be:
"bootcmd=usb start; run force_rescue_bootcmd; run ubifs_bootcmd; run usb_bootcmd; usb stop; run rescue_bootcmd; run pogo_bootcmd; reset". If not you need to reset it to this value using"
bootcmd "usb start; run force_rescue_bootcmd; run ubifs_bootcmd; run usb_bootcmd; usb stop; run rescue_bootcmd; run pogo_bootcmd; reset"
