How to see version of uBoot?

Simple question: how can I find out which version of uBoot I am using? I lost track which Pogolug has which version and have forgotten if I installed the new version.

Thanks,

Rainer

Rainer,

grep -a --null-data U-Boot /dev/mtd0ro

When you do this, there will be a bunch off errors appear in dmesg. Since the kernel block device drivers don't know mtds. So don't be alarm to see those!

@bodhi
Thanks - I get

root@lms:~# grep -a --null-data U-Boot /dev/mtd0ro
U-Boot 2011.12 (Feb 20 2012 - 21:21:59)
Pogoplug E02U-Boot
** Invalid partition type "%.32s" (expect "U-Boot")
U-Boot BUG at %s:%d!

Are these the errors you refer to?

You have U-Boot 2011.12 as indicated by the 1st line. The remaining lines are from string messages in the U-Boot binary.

This is the version.

Not that error, run dmesg, you'll see a series of errors that look scary, but they are harmless.
