fdisk -l does not show my USB thumbdrive
November 14, 2010 07:22PM
I installed rescue firmware in dockstar yesterday and since then, fdisk -l does not work any more. After rebooting the dockstar without external drive II can get in via ssh. I attached my thumbdrive (ext2 formatted) to dockstar and dockstar does not report the presence of any USB drive. Any workaround of this issue?

Looks like I screwed up my recue system as well, all becasue of fw_setenv usb_init and fw_setenv arcNumber=2998. Anyway out of this situation? I don't really go to the serial cable route.
