The newer version of Plex must be compiled with a different method. I'd suggest using google to find a way. I have no idea.by Almaz - Debian
Sorry, can't comment on that because I don't know.by Almaz - Debian

You can try purge it and reinstall itby Almaz - Debian
Just grab another usb stick and start from scratch. You'll save more time than troubleshooting the problemby Almaz - Debian
Try this as well apt-get install libc6by Almaz - Debian
cdlenfert Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > root@DebianPlugPro:~# locale -a > C > C.UTF-8 > POSIX > You must add en_US.utf8by Almaz - Debian
Plex requires the correct locale. I'd guess it might cause a problem. locale -a C C.UTF-8 en_US.utf8 ----> IF MISSING then POSIX apt-get install locales dpkg-reconfigure locales If nothing works reinstall debian from scratch which can be done in less than 30 minby Almaz - Debian
Disable Plex DLNA Server if you don't use it. Also do the following nano /etc/default/plexmediaserver # default script for Plex Media Server # the number of plugins that can run at the same time PLEX_MEDIA_SERVER_MAX_PLUGIN_PROCS=1 # ulimit -s $PLEX_MEDIA_SERVER_MAX_STACK_SIZE PLEX_MEDIA_SERVER_MAX_STACK_SIZE=3000 # where the mediaserver should store the transcodeby Almaz - Debian
Just a guess, you could have bad/corrupted file in media folder. Plex might crash because of that .by Almaz - Debian
Something is definitely wrong, I'm running sickrage, plex, couchpotato, samba, transmission and a lot of other services on E02 and it never crashed. I don't use usb memory because it's slow. I prefer running OS on the same hard drive as my media file server, makes it much faster for everything.by Almaz - Debian

I made a quick guide, not really detailed but it'll help someone in a long run http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,25241,32725#msg-32725by Almaz - Debian
Directions to install Plex media server on PogoPlug Download and install Plex package Plex package dpkg -i plex* I don't remember if I included start init script but just in case nano /etc/init.d/plexmediaserver #!/bin/sh ### BEGIN INIT INFO # Provides: plexmediaserver # Required-Start: $remote_fs $syslog $networking # Required-Stop: # Default-Start:by Almaz - Debian
Here you go http://www.mediafire.com/file/zwy6gv23br823qr/plexmediaserver_0.9.12.8.1362-4601e39_armel.deb I didn't update to the latest version because this one is stable enough to what I do but I might update to the latest version if it has any improvements. a Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Can anyone please upload plex again ? WOL means Wake ON Lan You can remotely turn on your PC from any device such as phone, router, pc and etcby Almaz - Debian
It'll stream only supported files as long as there is no encoding is involved. I use it on a daily basis but at home using local LAN. I'd probably wouldn't use it for remote access. For remote access just use your main PC by using WOL.by Almaz - Debian
Subscribed, I hope to see more updates about itby Almaz - Debian
I installed distcc on pogoplug and debian PC for testing using the following guide http://archlinuxarm.org/developers/distcc-cross-compiling. I downloaded suggested Pre-built crosstool-ng toolchains. Every time I try to compile something I get an error after about 10 minutes. For testing I used export PATH=/usr/lib/distcc:${PATH} wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/advancemame/advancemaby Almaz - Debian
It runs fine, not as fast to compare to my PC but OK. I use Nginx, MySQL, and PHP. I don't know if it makes any difference but I don't use any usb sticks only hard drive is connected with PogoPlug e02 1.2ghz. Note: SWAP is a must. http://tuxlite.com/faq/by Almaz - Off-Topic
Pogoplug is not powerful to transcode. It works great with PC or Android devicesby Almaz - Debian
Well, Plex works fine on my PogoPlug for internal network, sometimes it might delay for a few seconds when you scroll fast. Plex will not convert videos but you can use your favorite external player such as MPC to play any video. If you want to use Plex web player then you must have all the video files in MP4 files and AAC audio. If you have MKV files with AAC audio then you can easily convertby Almaz - Debian
:) that's what you get from uploading files to a free site. Anywho the file I uploaded is safe but popups from uploadex is a nightmare. You should really start using adblocks + hosts file. I'm using my personal adblocking with dnsmasq and pixelserv so I get 0 popups and no ads.by Almaz - Debian
In other words if we revert back to 3.14 kernel we can get proper NTFS support. If you compile the driver for 3.14 can you please upload it here?by Almaz - Debian
Plex works great on PogoPlug. Here is the file I compiled a while ago http://www.mediafire.com/file/zwy6gv23br823qr/plexmediaserver_0.9.12.8.1362-4601e39_armel.deb I use it with https://github.com/Kayomani/PlexExternalPlayer in order to use external player instead of browser player.by Almaz - Debian

I'm using OpenVPN with PogoPlug in TUN and TAP modes. Everything works as expected.by Almaz - Off-Topic
I'm having the same problem since I upgraded from Wheezy to Jessie in debian. I guess during upgrade it messed up something else. Didn't try netconsole but I'm still running old uboot. Did you solve the problem and how?by Almaz - Debian
I'm running plex on PogoPlug and it runs great. I'm running web plex and plex starts playing in external player, in my case it is MPC-HC. I'm able to play any kind of movies with any kind of format using Plex. For home use it is ideal setup. PogoPlug will not work outside your network. Forget about DLNA it's just useless. Plex is the way to go for home network with PogoPby Almaz - Debian
