For me they are completely dead , if I place a flash drive in any of them they don't even power them up. When it was in Arch I didn't have a problem , couldn't' boot with them but I could read a flash drive.by Looker - uBoot
Bodhi, Thank you!! I got everything running . . . I tried to use the USB ports but I read this was broken on the Pogo v4 under Debian. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks again for your help, Lookerby Looker - uBoot
Thanks Bodhi! What I might do science I already have a working pogo 4 with Arch is jut install Debian. What's the easiest way from where I'm at right now, do I need to fix any of the environment variables? Can I install it from the serial console as is?by Looker - uBoot
Bodhi, sorry to be a pest, per your suggestion, here is the boot without an ethernet cable. This known good working SD card boots fine in another pogo 4 with an older uboot. Bodhi, I decided to write your uboot 7-2017 on the device and tried to boot with a known good SD card from another Pogo 4, I also got off my "lazy backside" , opened it up to added a serial connector so I could use a terminal to see the output. It hangs at a certain point , don't know what the problem is, below is the output from uboot and the printenv: BOOTING U-Booby Looker - uBoot

Bodhi , I have a Pogo4 with Arch updated Uboot and Arch and now it won't boot with SD card. I have an old flash drive with Arch on it and it will boot from that but not from the SD card with the updated arch. Can you look at the netconsole output and see if anything sticks out to you. Bodhi; I have a pogo V4 running fine with Archlinux and a Uboot version from 2012. I want to install Debiam stretch on it, can I do that with the existing uboot? If I need to update uboot do I just write over the old one or do you recommend a different approach? Thanksby Looker - Debian
Happy new year all! I have a Pogoplug Pro Oxnas (wifi) running Debian Linux 4.4.79, I've installed a home automation app called BWS HA-bridge the runs well by itself after installing Java. Hi all, I have successfully liberated my Pogoplug V3 with the latest Debian posted here and wifi is working fine. This is my first attemp at using Debian, I have 3 Pogoplug 02's running archlinux with no problems but have no experience installing packages or where're find them for this device on Debian. I just received a new pristine Pogpplug Pro , can someone point me to the latest tutorial as to which uboot to use and how to install Debian. There seem to be many iterations of how to install but many with warnings about not being able to boot or locking up due to memory issues. I would like to do this right the first time. Thank you for any help or advise you can offer.by Looker - Debian
Bodhi, I've upgraded to Arch 4.0,2 on my Pogo V4 and everything runs fine except I went to compile a Wifi module and it errored out because it couldn;t find the correct Linux headers where they should have been. When I tried to reinstall the headers it said I had the latest version which indicated it was "linux-headers-3.1.10-35". Shouldn't the latest version be higher thanby Looker - uBoot
Thank you Bodhi, That link fixed the problem by ignoring the kernal update. . . since then, Arch 4.01 was released, I cautiously updated on a test drive I made and it works great now. What ever the issue was in systemd has been fixed. I'm happily running on 4.01 on both my E02's and Series 4's.by Looker - uBoot
Same results, the light will come on but won't boot. I also have another box that is booted and running Arch 4 but when I run the command "fw_printenv" it can't find it, even in " /usr/sbin/fw_printenv". If I turn that one off it wont boot to Arch 4, I'll have to boot back to 3.19 with an old flash drive.by Looker - uBoot

Bodhi, You're the only person I know that can probably either explain what happened and/or help me. Pogoplug E02, upgraded the kernel from 3.19 to 4, then updated using "Pacman -Syu". after the kernel update I was still able to boot but not after updating Pacman. Seems to be a uboot issue but maybe not that's why I'm asking. Can't boot into Pogo anymore eitherby Looker - uBoot
Bodhi, I always follow my same proven installation steps, how can I find the uboot version loaded on each device to verify that? I thought there was a workaround to this issue by modifying a config file. Thanksby Looker - uBoot

Hi, I just got another Pogo E02 and installed Archlinux and associated apps with no problems. It boots fine if I have the USB flash drive connected. The problem is when I try to boot it back into the original Pogoplug factory environment it stops booting if no flash drive is connected. Bodhi, Thank you so very much for all your help! Everything is working great. Don't know how those single quotes ended up in there, originally I pasted them from a saved text file, there must have been some hidden markup codes in there.
