Hi Bodhi, 13GB after ~0,5GB, i get the exeption; i open "top" in a ssh session the physical RAM is completely used the 500MB swap on my flashdrive a untouchedby Kirsch - Debian
After long time i updated my NAS326 to Debian Buster and used your last kernel i try 5.2.9 and 5.3.5 If i copy a lage file via samba from my pc to the nas, the copy process aborts dmsg show this exeption:[ 456.707542] kswapd0: page allocation failure: order:0, mode:0xa20(GFP_ATOMIC), nodemask=(null),cpuset=/,mems_allowed=0 [ 456.719060] CPU: 0 PID: 639 Comm: kswapd0 Not tainted 5.3.5-by Kirsch - Debian
Hi Bodhi, i try to generate a BootFS with your 5.2.9 kernel. (I had no problems up to and including version 5.1.7) I have a Zyxel NAS 326 and create my own Debian RootFS and boot with a uImage. But with kernel 5.2.9 a can't create a uInitrd. I use this commands in a chroot qemu enviorment:varK="5.2.9-mvebu-tld-1" varV="1.0" dpkg -i "/boot/linux-image-${by Kirsch - Debian
Hi @ All One question I build my own Debian RootFS and used bodhi's linux-4.12.4-mvebu-tld-1 package. All works fine, except for one thing The ethernet have every boot a different mac-address. Is there a way to fix this? Except to write an address hardcoded in /etc/network/Interfaces Thx Kirschby Kirsch - Debian
(HOST: Kubunu 17.04 64Bit) Im trying to bulid a new Debian RootFS for a ARM-Device Stage 1 and 2 of debootstrap works fine. When i enter chroot from new RootFS and run "aptitude" i get a segmentation fault. Same steps with jessie as target OS works fine. "armel" or "armhf" maks no diffrents. Bug in ARM-Version from aptitude, or problem with qemu?by Kirsch - Debian

Very mysterious behavior with the TX-Line. My diode tick does not work with the other converter to 100%. I tried it now with a 10K pullup to 3.3V. The box does not booting, looks like a reset loop. All LEDs toggle with a very high frequency. Pulldown to GND works.by Kirsch - Debian
It did not work. Does kwboot need to trigger the 1 stage boot loader? It always goes immediately in U-Boot. I sniff the TX-Line with a second converter:BootROM - 1.73 Booting from NAND flashâ–’ General initialization - Version: 1.0.0 Detected Device ID 6810 High speed PHY - Version: 2.0 Init RD NAS topology board SerDes lanes topology details: | Lane # | Speed | Type |by Kirsch - Debian
Ok, I have now read what kwboot is and what it does. I try that afterwards. Where is the difference between your kwboot and the from u-boot-tools from Ubuntu 16.04?by Kirsch - Debian
If you only connect GND and TX, it should have no influence on the box. Because the connection is completely passive. This is a very unusual behavior. Because the pin input on the TTL converter is highly resistive and therefore no current can flow. Without a circuit diagram, I cannot figure out the exact cause. My first try was a resistance (100 and 470 ohms), but that did not help. Then Iby Kirsch - Debian
Months ago, i buy a NAS326 Box, and now i found time to unboxing this. I disassemble it direct and connect a Cable for the serial-console. @hean01 , @musv I have the same Problem, the Box is not booting if a USB-TTL transmiter is conneced. (I connent only GND and TX). I solve this issue by adding a diode to TX-Line (Cathode/Ring-Mark to Box, Anode to Transmiter). After that, Box booted diby Kirsch - Debian
It takes some time, but i buy a NAS326 last week and its arrived today. For a RPi and my old NSA325, i build my own RootFS with debootstrap and used prebuilt linux kernels. Which steps must i do, to build a kernel for this Armada 380 Box? Or has somebody a working kernel that i can try?by Kirsch - Debian

I don't buy it yet No Kirkwood, its now "Marvell Armada 380 1.3 GHz" SoC I have no more infomation https://www.zyxel.com/ProductTab.shtml?pid=20150327120001&idx=2&c=gb&l=enby Kirsch - Debian
I have a NSA325v2 and boot a Linux from a Flashdrive. I created my own Debian RootFS and use bodhi's Kirkwood-Kernel (from this forum) for a bootable Linux. Now, i plan to buy a NAS326. My question: Can a boot from Flashdrive too? On NSA325 i must configure U-Boot, so that it boot from USB. The NAS326 is very new, no one has been tried before. ------ moderator edit: modifieby Kirsch - Debian
