Hi, I attached a screenshot of what it acually says when I try to boot from usb. It is able to load uinitrd but something is wrong with it. I have also tried different versions.by audiocrush - Debian
As I said... this thing is reeeeeeeally old. I can't even remember when I got it. I have a newer one that is currently running a relatively recent 3.3.2 Kernel based rootfs. But that one I bought in 2015 I guess.by audiocrush - Debian
Hi there, does anybody have an idea how I can sort this out? I have an old Goflex Net with uBoot version 2011.12 (Apr 18 2012 ...) With no rescue system installed an I really can't manage to make this thing boot anything. Could someone point me in the right direction? In uboot console I can't even ext2ls my usb drive. If tried formatting partition 1 in ext2 and ext3. It alwaysby audiocrush - Debian
I simple added "usb stop; usb start; usb start" into my bootcmd-chain and now every usb drive that didn't work before just works fine for me now :P just takes a bit more time... but they work :)by audiocrush - Debian
I think it would be cool to host a wiki on it where everybody can get closer with topics like the environment variables, what they do etc. or a clear overview of how the affected people got rid of the erase-block problem. This board here is full of information but day by day it's getting harder to find what you're looking for. A wiki could improve this situation very much.by audiocrush - Debian
I'm sorry if this an unescessary question cause I'm just too dumb to find it... but the directories are no longer browsable so it is very hard to find the images I'm looking for... is it supposed to be like this or is there something going wrong? greetings from germany joeby audiocrush - uBoot
well... what are you trying to achieve by typing "resume 0x800200" ? just let it boot to Marvell> then enter printenv then show us the outputs of course the nand can't be empty if the board knows who it is. If the nand would be empty it would not show you any output on the serial console. So you definitely not bricked your dockstar.by audiocrush - uBoot
no not really... I think this thread can be closed because I think that it is mainly a problem that is already handled by this thread here: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,1169by audiocrush - uBoot
Gparted says it's ext2 okay fsck.ext2 found lots of errors but I can't really understand why... It has been formatted just two minutes earlier :P *edit* I tried every single flashdrive I own. Now I found one that has no errors after formatting and after I copied the files on it there are still no errors. When I try to load uImage-mtd1.img it still does nothing :( hmmmh... the riby audiocrush - Debian
Heyho, when I follow the steps of jeff's instructions on the previous page I get stuck at this point: ext2load usb 0:1 0x800000 /uImage-mtd1.img It begins to load the image and I can see the usb-hdd activity indicator flashing.... after two seconds it stops flashing and I can leave ext2load running for hours... but nothing happens. Any Ideas?by audiocrush - Debian
Hello there, I followed the archlinuxARM tutorial to install archlinuxARM on my device... after the second reboot the system was no longer reachable via SSH or telnet. now I soldered a usb->uart converter to the jtag and was able to start a screen session which means I have access to the bootloader. The bootloader says that the created flash drive from the tutorial contains no validby audiocrush - uBoot
