Not if you get the right card. In my case it's a Atheros AR9287. I had to configure the network in a way that was not intuitive. Mine works great as a client with Debian using firmware-ralink and OpenWRT with kmod-rt2800-pci. But not in AP mode. I haven't quite figured that out yet. I would like to turn it into a wireless router with attached SATA drive but I never had luck getting OPENWRT to enable use of any of the wifi adapters (mini-pci-e or USB) I have. I think they updated the rootfs so perhaps I will try it again.
