Video conference on pogoplug

Now many kids cannot go to schools and need to attend classes online using video conference, can any of the these systems (dockstar, pogoplug) handle either Google Meet or Cisco Webex? It seems mic, speaker and web cam are needed as well.

If not, can these systems be useful in any aspect with respect to online classroom?

Lack of a display and the inability to run client software mean that Pogoplug cannot be used for popular web conferencing applications.

With a webcam, a Pogoplug can be used as a network attached camera that can have its output displayed at another location with the right software.

Another issue would be two way audio, solvable but complex on a device like Pogoplug

Unfortunately to enable this would require complex architecture that most school systems do not have the resources to provide for.

And even if all this was possible, the Pogoplug might be so taxed because of all the resources being used, it would be unusable.

No unfortunately.

Cheapest option is an Android tablet with webcam displaying screen to TV via Miracast dongle or to late model TV with Miracast built in. Note that Fire TV 4k also has Miracast built in so you can use that in lieu of a Miracast dongle.
