Wlan Driver Problem
September 20, 2010 05:09PM
Hi,
I also bought a Dockstar and installed Debian Squeze.

Now i try to get my W-lan Stick running.
It got this USB-ID:
0BDA:8172 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8191S WLAN Adapter

I found the driver sources at the page of Realtek. I tried to compile them, but it seems that my linux skills are not advanced enough....
I just cant get them compiled.

Realtek driver:

Furthermore I found this page *klick* . As they mention there it seems that the needed driver is allready included in the 2.6.32-10 Kernel but I am using version 2.6.32-5. Somehow pitty...

I hope someone can help me to solve this problem.
Or even better, compile the Driver and give me the *.ko file, if thats all what i need.
ATM I'm completely clueless,
