Installing Debian (Squeeze) on Dockstar

Howdy All,

I am planning on installing Debian linux per Jeff's instructions posted here: http://projects.doozan.com/debian/

I have a few questions:
1. Do I need to replace the bootloader? If so, then could this cause an issue returning back to the default PogoPlug firmware?


2. Is it really that simple, where I can just unplug the USB flash drive that I will be using to install linux on and return to the PogoPlug firmware?


I think that is it for now. I have been using linux for years, especially during the years of unslung's popularity, but this is a whole new animal in my perspective. I thank you all in advance for your help.

2. yes, this should work. But in my case it didn't. I don't know why.
