Dockstar as a ThinClient

I am wondering if someone has tested a SIS USB to VGA adapter on the Dockstar?

It seems it works.

There is also other gadgets from vendors wich might work (?).

Then with its Gigabit ethernet port and the 3 USB ports (for mouse and keyboard) the Dockstar could be a little ThinClient (X, NX,...)

Take a look at the DisplayLink monitor thread.

It is an interesting idea. Do you think the speed/response time will be adequate? I tried remote desktop with VNC but it was rather slow. Hope the stand alone version with display-link will be faster?

Do I need to install xorg as well?
