Using Audio Inferface With Dockstar?
August 26, 2010 05:58PM
Hello,

first I want to thank you for this great tutorial and its script. :) But before I try to install Debian on my second Dockstar I want to know if there is USB-audiosupport implemented in the kernel? Using this method shown here http://skorfulose.de/2010/07/22/how-to-install-debian-on-seagate-dockstar/ seems to replace the kernel by a customized one and so I had to experience a great disappointment. :(

there is a weird crackling noise when playing an mp3 podcast with mpg123
i am not sure if it's an alsa configuration issue or bandwidth?
of course they work fine with my ubuntu box

hope this helps
