Hello,

does someone know this Linux OS?
http://www.linaro.org/

Can we install it on dockstar?
Should be better for ARM CPUS.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm part of Linaro, so I know it well ;-)

Well, it depends whether the Marvell Kirkwood 6281 CPU used in this device has an ARM Cortex A8 core, supporting the NEON instruction set. Marvell's documentation is not clear about this.

If this is the case, then you can take one of the root filesystems supplied by Linaro, and just use your own kernel packages.

If you want to get support from Linaro, the best place is to ask our mailing list (see https://launchpad.net/~linaro-community) or our forums at http://www.linaro.org/forums/.

Cheers,

Michael
