ATV2 needs iTunes as Media Server. It wont work with any Media Server like firefly etc.
So if you cant install iTunes on the Dockstar (and no you cant) there is no way Streaming Media from the Dockstar to the ATV 2, you will need a PC or Mac with iTunes installed.

I dont know if the ATV 2 supports any other Media Servers via Jailbreak.
