Video Capture -- analog to digital -- kirkwood platform

Has anyone had any success getting anykind of analog video to USB capture device to work with the Kirkwood debian platform? If so, which one and were drivers already there in debian?

Pogoplug V2 / Canon S2 IS based windsock camera at about 1 mile distance from the windsock.
