hostname issue

I have installed debian via the script successfully but am having issues accessing via hostename....
I can successfully ssh / http: in via the ip ( 10.10.10.114) but cannont via hostname variable... (http://pogoplug/) Any ideas what else i need to set??

I want to be able to access the server from my LAN via the hostname.

Any help is appreciated.... T

This is because the hostname is not beeing solved by your DNS server (router). Try to add an entry with the hostname and ip of the dockstar, then it should work fine.
The dirty possibility would be to add an entry to your computer's hosts file. But try solving the issue by configuring your router.
