Hello,

i try to configure samba but smbpasswd is not in samba-common . Have anyone a idea whats going wrong?

try to install samba-common-bin
http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/armel/samba-common-bin/filelist

Hi I had the same problem. It seems like smbpasswd is removed from the newest sambe. I read that you should use the command pdbedit - and that was Ok, and I was able to add new samba users.
