Linux Kernel 3.2-rc2 does not compile cleanly
November 16, 2011 05:08AM
At present I am successfully running Linux kernel 3.1.1 on my Dockstar. Kernel 3.2-rc2 has been released so I thought I would compile it. In order to get 3.2-rc2 to compile cleanly I had to `#include <linux/slab.h>` to
`drivers/pci/ats.c` and `include/linux/mtd/map.h`

I've loaded the new kernel (3.2-rc2) onto my Dockstar (and hooked up a serial cable): initrd loads correctly but the kernel refuses to start. Fortunately, I was able to revert to my previous kernel (by reinstalling under another Dockstar).

As anyone successfully managed to load Linux kernel 3.2-rc2 on to their Dockstar? I would contact the Linux kernel maintainers, but I am not familiar with their bug reporting procedures.
