There is also a Pogoplug on sale at buy.com for $45. ( http://www.buy.com/prod/pogoplug-multimedia-sharing-device/q/loc/101/213816247.html ) It has more RAM that will be useful. However, after I took a look at Fry's last weekend, I found it is much larger than Dockstar. I am not sure I really want it because of the form factor. Unless it becomes very cheap, say below $25, of course.

The Pogoplug v2 is starting to look interesting at $45. I really like the small size of the dockstar too. Looks like some of the extra size with the Pogoplug v2 is the internal AC adapter. Internal picture.
Anyone know of uses that will benefit / need from 256mb RAM? Torrent box?

What about the power consumption? It shoud be the same but I would like to know because but the power supply is different.

It also has an internal hardware clock, which the DockStar doesn't have.
