NFS & Windows 8.1 slow transfer speed

I setup NFS using PogoPlug 02 and transfer speed from Windows to PogoPlug shows 13MB over 1 gigabit network. If I use samba then I get around 28MB write speed. Please share your experience with NFS and Windows.
