Add swap to SSD with existing Debian

In one of the threads, I saw a mention that it is advisable to use swap. Since I finally managed to run Zyxel NSA320S from an SSD drive, I would like to add a swap partition. The drive has 256 GB and only a few GB are occupied by Debian. How can I add a swap partition without damaging the system?

Hi stalker,

You may use a swap file. Details under point A here.
