I have a dockstar running debian jessie that has some nice computer speakers conencted. (Same device that I use as a wall clock for gongs). Is it possible to play a local file on this box from another debian box running shell script? How about rsh? Can I run this script as a particular user on the dockstar box? Any other options? The docstar also has MPD and gm-renderer resurrect running.
