Debian does not start Anymore on Pogoplug P02
January 21, 2017 05:05AM
Hi,

I have a little problem with my Pogoplug P02. I installed Debian Jessie with this guide: http://blog.qnology.com/2015/04/hacking-pogoplug-v3oxnas-proclassic.html

I wanted to install OpenMediaVault but I did not get it to run correctly, so I tried to downgrade my debian to Wheezy, but there were any errors and after a reboot my Debian does not boot anymore and always hangs on

[info] Using makefile-style concurrent boot in runlevel S.
/etc/init.d/quota: 24: /etc/init.d/quota: /usr/share/quota/quotaon.sh: not found
[ ok ] Loading kernel modules...done.
[ ok ] Setting kernel variables ...done.
[ ok ] Setting parameters of disc: (none).
[ ok ] Starting NFS common utilities: statd idmapd.

and nothing happens anymore. Does anybody have an idea, what I could do? Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad English.

geib,

Do you have a lot of packages installed on this rootfs and you want to keep it? or you could start fresh with the new rootfs to make it a fresh install:

If you want to keep it then you need to use another Linux box, chroot into it, and upgrade back to jessie.
