NAS326 Bricked? or bad install?

Maybe someone can help me,

I have a Zyxel NAS326 and I found the software it came with just crap. I wanted to test out OMV and found this forum.

Now I am stuck. The NAS326 simply can't find its NIC to give me an IP to SSH into.

I am afraid it is bricked, but thought I would ask here first. I am ready to troubleshoot :)

It is only stuck somewhere during boot. I'm sure it is not bricked.

Connect serial console and I can help you fixing this easily.

And if you have not used serial console before, see here for what to buy (should be < 5 USD and take 2-3 weeks to arrive from China). Or < 10 USD from Amazon wiht quicker shipping.
