NSA 325v2 USB3 vs sata installation

Hello everyone, I need to reinstall Debian on my NSA 325v2 because the USB flash drive with the operating system is causing issues. I'm wondering if it's worth buying a SATA SSD for the OS installation.
What do you think, will there be a noticeable difference switching from USB 3 to SATA on this old NAS?
P.S.: Only now, after years, I realize that I've always used one of the rear USB ports, which is USB 2.0 instead of 3.0 :)
Thanks!

Yes, definitely much better using SATA SSD. In term of performance, even the best of USB 3.0 drive is worse than a decent SATA HDD/SSD. USB is inherently slower than SATA.
