New rootfs for Pogo V4 doesn't work

Tested 6.5.7 and 6.6.3
New installation from the downloaded bodhi.tar.bz2 files.

Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)

Did you label your boot drive "rootfs"

e2label /dev/sd(x) rootfs

or when you format the drive

mkfs.ext3 -L rootfs /dev/sd(x)

You can check the existing drive if it has a label by

e2label /dev/sd(x)

I've checked, it has been labeled as 'rootfs'

Is the rootfs on USB drive? which u-boot are you running? when you format the drive as Ext4 did you finalize the file system?

Please post the entire serial boot log (from u-boot banner until it got stuck in initramfs).

I can also verify the new bookworm rootfs does not boot on the pogoplug v4 mobile when the rootfs is installed on an sd card. Here's the output of the serial boot log:
