Can I use the debian usb stick on a pogoplug?
November 29, 2010 11:20PM
I have mod'd a Seagate DockStar with Uboot and installed debian on a USB stick. I also ordered a Pogoplug to play with. Can I copy the usb stick from my dockstar to another usb stick and use it on the pogoplug?
Thanks.
Also interested in the answer to this question. I assume we would need to run Jeff's script first, but then would love to use a copy of the flash drive I have already customized. Possible?
Thanks,
Tim

You can use DD to clone a flashdrive.

I've been able to switch the stick back and forth.

Only gotcha was to get rid of the network definition under /etc/udev/rules.d called something something persistent network.
