Debian install on pink Pogo, can't find issue
March 22, 2011 11:40AM
Hi all,
I've tried to install Debian on an usb drive on my Pin pogo following this: http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/
I've edited dockstar.debian-squeeze.sh various times in order to take into account various tips founded on this forum.
Tried to replace debootstrap_1.0.26_all.deb with debootstrap_1.0.26+squeeze1_all.deb and with debootstrap_1.0.28_all.deb
Tried to change the Debian mirror, tried to specify a fixed IP adress,
but got the same error:

# Starting debootstrap installation

Is someone have an idea?

Thks
I was having the same issue.
I gave up and put plugbox linux back on instead.

hello,

I have the same issue.
I think this is related to the new version of debian 6.0.0 -> 6.0.1 .

How to made it work again ?

Same going on here, have tried different builds and hosts w/ no luck. Any thoughts are welcome.

the lenny install still works fine, so I did that and am now upgrading to squeeze. Thanks for the tip!

it went well. Ran in to other problems later on getting my apps set up, so I'm starting over using a USB hard drive on the Dockstar, the Lenny install worked fine on that too.

Lenny starting to download - is there a step by step to upgrade to squeeze?
