GoFlex Net is bricked

Tried to put debian squeeze onto a 4Gb USB stick and failed on " MD5 checksum package" error. .Used the link:
http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/ and failed on ./dockstar.debian-squeeze.sh

Rebooted and now the yellow light flashes. Probably the goflex is bricked and need to do a serial reflash.
Questions:

How do you open the box? I cannot find the the screws.

Can I uses the dockstar link below to reflash my goflex?

Thanks!

My goflex has a yellow/orange flashing light if it fails to boot e.g. if the usb drive is not pluged in,
so it may be that your install only installed the new boot loader but not debian to the usb drive.

all you would need to fix that is to install debian onto the usb drive and it should be all good, that is if that is the problem

probbaly worth a 2nd oppinion tho, i could be wrong

I am reading your link you originally posted: http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,4083
I choose to reboot after the MD5 Checksum errors were posted and I was back at the command level prompt.

How did you change " the arcNumber to the Goflex Net "fw_setenv arcNumber 3089"
Then restarted"? Is there a link?
.
Thanks!

A screwdriver is not necessary to open the GoFlex Net. It's held together by simple plastic latches along the edge of the bottom, so you can pry it open with any suitably thin and stiff object. Be careful at the LED (front) end since there's a bunch of sensitive cables. Otherwise it's a fairly safe and easy procedure.

Thanks, it worked. All I needed was small flat edge screw driver and patience. Now it is serial console time.

Hi patrick0525,
I have the same console output, after I installed the uboot, no longer boot in pogo.
Have you fond the solution yet?

Jeff's replacement uboot is not able to load Pogo on the GoFlex Net.

Connect a USB flash drive with a known working kernel and rootfs and it should boot from it.

Thanks Varkey,
I finally found a way to load the uImage and uInitrd from tftp so now I can boot into Jeff Doozan's Dockstar/Pogoplug Recovery System

I download Johannes's rescue system files which runs in RAM
from here : http://www.sendspace.com/file/afgz0q
(MD5: 495a32cbb2818111d7dc437805d2630e)
Thanks Johannes

When I tried to load Johannes's uImage at 0x800000 it always fail on the end, so I change the location to 0x680000 then is fine. I have tired Debian installer from http://www.cyrius.com/debian/kirkwood/sheevaplug/ to load their uImage at 0x800000 have no problem and installed Debian system very well that is another story. so I guess the uImage file from Johannes is two big to load at 0x800000.

Here is what I did to load the rescue system to Ram for GoFlex Net, but I don'tt do any further Test after the rescue system loaded. I have tried load the uImage to 0x680000 and 0x6000000 and both boot in rescue system find. I am not expert so I really don't know the two locations will effect anything or not.
setenv ipaddr 192.168.15.123
setenv serverip 192.168.15.91
tftpboot 0x680000 uImage
tftpboot 0x1100000 uInitrd
setenv bootargs console=ttyS0,115200n8 base-installer/initramfs-tools/driver-policy=most
bootm 0x680000 0x1100000
