Has anyone tried to install hamachi on the pogo plug?,

I tried using the nokia release, and it breaks 4 files where i no longer can use apt-get.

does anyone know of an alternative for smb over internet?

Doesn't smb work over the internet anyway? Must be your filewall. You could just use an SSH tunnel for port 139.
