Problems installing Debian on Pogoplug Pro
July 16, 2011 05:55AM
I have a problem installing Debian on my Pogoplug Pro. I have enabled SSH access on my.pogoplug.com. Can use SSH to log into the box. However, after starting the bootloader I got an error about uboot (see below). Starting with

./dockstar.debian-squeeze.sh --no-uboot-check

did not help. Same problem as before. After the Uboot error the system cannot find my USB stick. The same stick was working without any problems in my Dockstar.

Any ideas?

AFAIK the PogoPlug Pro is *not* supported. So do not try to update the uBoot or you may brick the device.

You can however try PlugBox, the installation guide is available here -- http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6/pogoplug-provideov3
