nfs mount does not work with 2.6.35.7-dockstar #5.
Got message "mount.nfs: Protocol not supported".
2.6.35.6-dockstar #1 works fine.

Thanks. Now I am sure what my problem is. I did
1) a fresh install of debian on a usb stick on my pogoplug and verify it will boot up and working.
2) DD my working dockstar USB stick to my pogoplug USB stick on my ubuntu desktop
3) edit the two lines so it won't detect different MAC
4) plug it to the pogoplug and I can't SSH to it. The front light is off all the time.

my working kernel is:
knolle@pogoplug:~$ uname -a
Linux pogoplug 2.6.32-dockstar #2 Mon Sep 6 15:43:50 EDT 2010 armv5tel GNU/Linux
knolle@pogoplug:~$ dpkg -l *linux-image*|grep ^ii
ii linux-image-2.6.32-dockstar 1.1 Linux kernel binary image for version 2.6.32-dockstar

and my cpuinfo give me follow:
knolle@pogoplug:~$ grep "^Hardware" /proc/cpuinfo | sed 's/Hardware\s*:\s*//'

leds don't function, but in sys-tree exist path and objects

knolle@pogoplug:~$ ls -R /sys/class/leds/*
/sys/class/leds/dockstar:green:health:
brightness device max_brightness power subsystem trigger uevent

/sys/class/leds/dockstar:green:health/power:
wakeup

/sys/class/leds/dockstar:orange:health:
brightness device max_brightness power subsystem trigger uevent

/sys/class/leds/dockstar:orange:health/power:
wakeup

Hi,

@ Gorgone

You've announced that you will releasea kernel that supports "zram". Wht is the benefit of "zram"???
Will the kernel be available until x-mas or not?

Thanks

Hi,
everything works fine for me an my dockstar for now!
Would it be possible to build a kernel with s2-liplianin support, so I can easily install it to use a TT S2-3600 and a TT CT-3650 CI?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your answer! Will this help you? http://mercurial.intuxication.org/hg/s2-liplianin/file/054f002f4d23
lin_win already tried to do this (http://forum.doozan.com/read.php?2,582,2328#msg-2328)
I'm not sure where to start and how to include the source in a new kernel. If I did, I'd give it a try.

Right now i only have a quick and dirty tutorial for my own.

A few days ago I "repaired" my bricked second dockstar.
(My first one is in use with yavdr 1.7.16 and tt-3600)
Today i will install gorgones kernel/yavdr/liplianin and write all into a small tutorial.
I have only DSL light, so it will take a few hours.

I have "2.6.35.7-dockstar #5 PREEMPT" on my dockstar. I installed aircrack package. When I try airodump or aireplay, I got channel fixed on -1.
Is it something to do with the bug from compat-wireless? There is a patch for it. Can you fix it?
Thanks!

Thank you for your reply, but I got a different problem. No matter what channel I set, I always get it stuck at channel -1. It is a known bug from aircrack with the new Linux Kernal.
http://trac.aircrack-ng.org/ticket/742

There is a patch to fix it, but need to recompile the driver. I downloaded the 2.6.35.7 Kernal and tried to re-compile by following a tutorial, but no success. I got invalid configuration error, and missing several files.
Here is the tutorial to fix it.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1598930

Would you please help me?

Thanks!
