uBoot verification failed

Hi,

first time here, first time a have dockstar.
I read http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv5 ... e-dockstar and go into instruction

1. killall hbwd
nothing kill

2.cd /tmp
wget http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/uboot/ins ... ot_mtd0.sh
chmod +x install_uboot_mtd0.sh
./install_uboot_mtd0.sh

is ok everythink

But.....
Unknown uBoot detected on mtd0: 94b18dac843cbc8cb78c787988650bbb

fdisk -l
Disk /dev/mtdblock0 doesn't contain a valid partition table

Disk /dev/mtdblock1: 4 MB, 4194304 bytes

i run with --no-uboot-check

and i get
VERIFICATION FAILED!
## Make a backup of /tmp/uboot-mtd0-dump someplace safe and
## then re-run this installer.

copy ..-dump on usb key

What now?

badblocks -nvs /dev/mtdblock0
Checking for bad blocks in non-destructive read-write mode

The instructions here also did not work for me when I put Debian on my dockstar.

I had to use http://dev.shyd.de/2011/01/seagate-dockstar-debian-squeeze/

hope this works for you.

can i reboot my dockstar after verification failed and dockstar is work?

That I do not know. You will have to wait for a more knowledgable person to answer that one.

if dont, what can i do?

what can i do with /tmp/uboot-mtd0-dump?

No, do not reboot. Rerun the uBoot installer and see if it works.

I faced a similar issue and had to fix it using a Serial cable and manually updating uBoot, my problem was primarily due to using ArcNumber 2097 on a GoFlex Net
