Sounds familiar. Most of Synology ARM-based NAS have this layout:
2 4 6
1 3 5
^
1 3.3V
2 GND
4 TX
6 RX

With Synology ARM-based NAS, they use the same layout above consistently.
So you should look for the pin 1 marking. It's either a rectangle or an arrorw ^ pointing to pin 1. And then orient yourself whether it is facing in for facing out from the motherboard.
