Hello all,

i own an ix4-200d without the original disks, so I tried to recover using the USB + serial port.
Everything goes well until the restart. After restart, with the serial port connect, i got the following result from putty.

Toddy Cangica,

To recover this seeming bricked box, run kwboot as instructed here:
https://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,25120,25669#msg-25669

The mtd0.bin file is attached in the post before that post.

Basically, you'll need another Linux box to to run kwboot (instead of the serial console binary you are running with putty). If you only have Windows, then you should download Linux Live CD (Ubuntu, for example and run kwboot from there).

Bodhi,

I tried to boot using kwboot, but got the attached screen and look`s like it`s freezed. Even typing ctrl+c, still the same thing.
What should I do now?

thanks the help,

Have you verified that your serial console module converter OK?

With that said, the kwboot behavior is bad, where kwboot loaded the image and then it just sit there. It could mean that the mtdo.bin did not reset power status

from here in your log:

Toggle power status

to how it should be (Reto post https://forum.doozan.com/read.php?3,25120,25698#msg-25698):

Set Power State as Always On

The problem is we don't know where this power state is saved (we need GPL source code to find out).. You could try to unplug power, and leave it off for an hour, and turn it back on. And also remove the battery if it has one.
