[Firmware utilities ompatibility] OXNAS vs. Marvel Kirkwood

I was perusing this Hacking the Pogoplug v3/Oxnas (Pro/Classic) with Debian blog and noticed the download firmware utilities links reference to http://download.qnology.com/pogoplug/v4. AFAIK, PogoPlug V4 is a Marvel Kirkwood and not OXNAS platform. So, how is the compatibility between the two platforms? In other words, will the firmware tools from a Marvel Kirkwood run correctly on an OXNAS platform?

Yes the firmware tools are compatible and I've tested it. Otherwise, I would not have published the tutorial.

Was considering moving the tools to a more generic folder name to avoid this confusion/concern, but was too lazy.

Explanation: eventhough Oxnas is v6, you are running ARMv5 rootfs on both boxes. So the binaries compiled on Kirkwood work the same way on both rootfs.

That makes sense. Thank you.
