Guys,

I want to use this "USB 2.0 to RS232 TTL Converter Module PL2303" for serial console.

Please, somebody tell what are all the pins on this converter are and what is the jumper for (see attached pics)? I only need to hook Gnd, Tx, Rx to the Dockstar or GoFlex Net/Home, right?

You just need to connect the RX, TX and GND. Leave the jumper as it is.

Or you can go for the CP2102 which I am using now -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150604665815

Thanks varkey, the CP2102 looks nice and simple, and only 4.49. Cool! I'll grab one of these.
