Boot not work ?!

Hello,
I have follow this tutorial: http://jeff.doozan.com/debian/
I have a SanDisk cruzer (8GB) flash disk.
The IP of the dockstar is: 192.168.0.13 (work in ssh with pogo)
After instal debian with jeff stuff, the dockstar reboot.
At reboot, can't connect to ssh !!
Dockstar not repond at ping !
When i restart it on pogo os, i mount usb, and i look log files and dmesg is empty !!
So i think that the dockstar not boot on usb flash drive.
Can you help me to resolve it ?

Scan your network or look at your router's DHCP table or log. The Dockstar might have got a different IP address because it queries the DHCP server with a different hostname.

i have reserved a ip on my dhcp router with MAC adress, so it must have the same IP no ?
And if debian start, it must be seen in log file no ?

In that case the Dockstar should get the same address and the request for the address should show up in the DHCP log.

If there are other USB devices attached to the Dockstar, the boot loader scripts and the kernel might disagree on the device name of the root file system partition. Scan order is top USB port, next to the Ethernet port, the other USB port on the back and finally the USB port on the right. Put the device with the root partition before other devices, and during testing remove other USB devices.

Another common problem is if you ran the installation script on a different Dockstar and eth0 is then reserved for that system's MAC address. See in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules if there is a rule for eth0 with a MAC address other than your Dockstar's.

You can add the following lines to /etc/rc.local before the "exit 0" line to turn off the LED when the OS has started:

echo none > /sys/class/leds/dockstar:orange:misc/trigger
echo none > /sys/class/leds/dockstar:green:health/trigger

This visual feedback is particularly useful if your USB stick doesn't have an activity LED.

If I'm not mistaken your usb_rootfstype=ext3 should be ext2.
