Can I apply rescue image to Pogoplug Series 4?

I've installed uBoot which is made by bodhi and it can boot with SD card. There were many environment variables for rescue like rescueme.txt even though that uBoot was made for Pogoplug Series 4. Rescue systems looks very excellent even though I have netconsole.

Can I apply rescue things in Rescue Forum here to my series 4? I know Jeff says that rescue image is for Dockstar on his installation script.

I'm glad it works for you, the uBoot image you're using was built by davygravy :)

And no, you can't not install rescue system on Pogo V4, it is not supported. You can, howver, set up netconsole for recovery purpose.

Recently I installed the uboot and davygravy's Rescue V2.8.2for my Pogoplug Mobile, since I am not going to use Pogo's service anymore.

in uboot env I keep the mtdparts same as dockstar
mtdparts=mtdparts=orion_nand:1M(u-boot),4M(uImage),32M(rootfs),-(data)

But when I did cat /proc/mtd it show a little different,it shows 5 partitions

root@Mobile:~# cat /proc/mtd
dev:    size   erasesize  name
mtd0: 00100000 00020000 "u-boot"
mtd1: 00400000 00020000 "uImage"
mtd2: 02000000 00020000 "rootfs"
mtd3: 05b00000 00020000 "data"
mtd4: 00010000 00008000 "spi0.0"

any ideal?
