Dockstar OPENWRT on Rescue System V2

Dockstar is currently running rescue system V2 and Debian on USB hard drive. Is it possible to install openwrt into different USB hard drive?
I want to be able to switch between Debian and openwrt by simply switching USB hard drive. Thanks for reading and appreciated any comments.
