I got this module cable, but the connectors are to big for the pins. bodhi how did you get it to work?

anyone know a solution?

Your GF Home does have pins out, right?

The wire testing hooks should work fine.

Ok I finally got my serial cable connected, and used the command
bash$ screen /dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART 9600
to access it. But when I turn on the goflex, I get the following in the teriminal:

the screen does not respong to any keyboard entry either.

I verified that GND is going to the pin closest to the front and nearest to the flashing light (top left, when looking at the goflex from the back), RDX is connected to the pin next to it on the right, and TDX is connected to the next pin to the right.

no flow control
no parity
8 data bit
1 stop bit
