Currently (today only: 12/25/18), NewEGG offers the following 120GB SSD storages under US $20 + a free S/H as shown below. TBH, I really don't know the reliability of the brands. However, I am tempted to grab 1x for the 1st one (Silicon Power S55) mainly it has a better R/W throughputs and use it on a Seagate GoFLEX Home even though its memory components are based on a 3D TLC technology (3,000 write cycles supported compared to 35,000 write cycles supported by 3D NAND). Regardless, this SSD buying guide has more information on what to look when buying an SSD storage. What do you all think?

  1. Silicon Power S55 2.5" 120GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SP120GBSS3S55S25AC, Max Sequential Read: 550 MB/s (ATTO) or 460 MB/s (CDM), Max Sequential Write: 420 MB/s (ATTO) or 370 MB/s (CDM)
  2. Team Group L5 LITE 3D 2.5" 120GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) T253TD120G3C101, Max Sequential Read Up to 470 MBps, Max Sequential Write Up to 300 MBps.

I don't really know if the Max Sequential R/W on the later is based on ATTO or CDM specs.
