Whats this socket for

Good Morning all - from a pleasantly crisp and bright UK

can anyone advise me what the following port on the Pogo is for? Next to the serial connetion is another header, whats it for and what are the pinouts?

im not a hardware genius by any stretch of the imagination and as my good lady describes, i use electronics like a mechano set (thats a compliment I think).

Here is the Pogo E02 pinout for jtag:

(1) GND ---> next to power plug
(2) TDI
(3) SRST (NC)
(4) TDO
(5) CLK
(6) TMS
(7) RES
(8) 3.3V (NC) ---> next to serial port

CON3
(1) GND
(2) RXD
(3) TXD
(4) 3.3V (NC)

(NC) ... do not connect (for example to use with Buspirate-JTAG)
